Will my phones work with music on hold?

If you currently have a radio or another music on hold service, you’re ready to go. Most larger business systems will also work. If you’re not sure, ask us or your phone vendor. Ask about the “MOH” or music on hold function.

I don’t have MOH function, what can I do?

Most “off the shelf” office phones from your office supply store do not have a music/message on hold capability. You’ll probably need an after-market adapter. You can get an adapter from us if you have one of these phones.

If you currently use a radio or CD player for music on hold, you’re ready to go. If not here are a couple of ways to see if you can use messages on hold.

Are the phones in your office plugged into a central ‘brain”, usually bolted to the wall where your phone lines come into your office. We can walk you through finding it and plugging in the digital repeater into it, so folks can hear your messages.

But what if you don’t have a phone “brain”, just some phones you bought at your office supply store? We’ve got adapters that will give you music on hold capability. Just tell us the brand and model.
